I'm Iroh, a game programmer in Melbourne. Before games I was an emergency nurse. I'm a trained classical pianist and drummer, and I have completed my double degree in Business and Accounting at RMIT. Each of those chapters gave me skills and experience that I now bring to my work.

I worked as an emergency nurse. The emergency department taught me to stay calm under pressure, deal with what matters most first, and trust the team around me.
MUSICI'm a classically trained pianist. I earned a piano scholarship in high school and played in the Beijing Youth Olympics orchestra. Years of daily practice taught me that craft is built in small repetitions.
MUAY THAIMuay Thai is the traditional martial art of Thailand. I train because it's challenging, it keeps me healthy and it's social. Every session is repetition, discipline and learning from my mistakes, which is how I approach code too.
TRAVELThis is Tilicho Lake on the Annapurna circuit in Nepal, one of the highest lakes in the world. I did this trek solo, with a map to guide me. It taught me to take things one step at a time and to plan properly.
CHARITYI helped run community events with LACSI, including their Youth Week. I also organised a children's charity concert, where I played Joe Hisaishi's Merry-Go-Round of Life with a violinist.
TEACHINGI teach piano to adult learners and have taught children too. I've volunteered as a tutor at two homework clubs for over a decade, and spoken at a CPA conference. I thoroughly enjoy sharing what I know. It's why I keep a Codex of everything I've learnt, and write notes and case studies so others can learn too.
BUSINESSIn 2019 I started Frontline Label, an apparel brand, and built its online store myself in Python and Django, with Stripe for payments. I ran it until 2023. I have completed a double degree in Business and Accounting at RMIT.
GAME DEVELOPMENTThis is PlayNow Melbourne 2025, where our team showed our VR horror game Art & Death to publishers. One of my colleagues at RMIT introduced me to making games in 2024, and I got hooked. In 2025 I took a course in virtual reality and brought what I learnt into our horror game.
