REFERENCE
Hierarchy of authority · C++ · Lua · Audio · Unreal · Game
This reference table ranks the sources of knowledge for each technical domain I work in, by hierarchy of authority. WHAT:Every source is ranked by authority: binding sources set the rules, persuasive sources explain them. WHY:For programmers who need a source to justify a decision, or to check a rule quickly. For colleagues in adjacent roles who want a deeper understanding of the work. NOTE:The level names borrow from law as an analogy. The C++ Standard is not legislation.
